On Monday, Father Chris Ballard, Pastor of Our Lady of Hope Church, was the celebrant at Mass. Many students participated in the Mass, as lectors, Eucharistic ministers and musicians.     Kraft, Edick Place In Shakespeare Competition

    CBA recently held its Shakespeare Competition sponsored by the English Speaking Union of the United States. Junior Emilee Edick, performing as Phoebe from As You Like It, finished in first place. Senior Patrick Kraft was named runner up for his portrayal of Macbeth from Macbeth. Emilee will now move on to the regional competition to be held at Syracuse Stage on March 21st, with the winner from that event advancing to the national competition at Lincoln Center in New York City.

  • Four Students To Represent CBA In Spelling Bee

    Gabbi Kleiner ’24, Kami Petrosillo ’22, Christina Falasco ’22 Elena Kantor ’21, and Corinne Kleiner ’21 all received Scholastic Art Awards. The Scholastic Art Awards are determined on a merit basis.   • Wleklinski ’75 Nets No. 500

    CBA boys’ basketball coach John “Buddy” Wleklinski ’75 added another milestone to his incredible coaching resume’ on Jan. 11. The Brothers knocked off Solvay, 67-47 to give Coach “W” as his players refer to him, win No. 500. Wleklinski, who started coaching the boys varsity team in 1984, joins six other CNY coaches to accomplish this feat. Following the Brothers win, players gathered on the court with a “500 Win” banner for Wleklinski, before eating pizza and cake, provided by the parents.
