Christian Brothers Academy is pleased to announce that Carrie Culeton of Oswego is the winner of the school’s 33rd Annual Corvette Raffle, sponsored by the West Herr Auto Group.
Culeton can choose between the car or $40,000.
Culeton’s winning ticket number was 000390. The second prize winner of $1,000 was Larry Krueger (ticket number 061442). Winning third prize of $500 was Dana Wilkins of Lyons, NY. Ticket number 014803.
The names were drawn by President Matt Keough at an assembly in the Lynch Gymnasium. Also on hand were CBA trustees Ed Leone '74, John Marshall '67, and Jay Murphy '90. They were joined by Town of Dewitt Police Officers Slattery and Heinrich; Tom Shallcross, salesman of West Herr Auto; Mike Barker of Integrated Marketing; Jim Ennis, President of the Syracuse Corvette Club, and Sandra Winkworth Club Governor of the Syracuse Corvette Club. Seniors Porter Matt, Matt Lachut, Amazin Spencer, and Tia Marshall also assisted with the drawing. John Engle and Anthony Lisi live-streamed the drawing.

“I’m blown away, I don’t know what to say,” Culeton responded when Keough called to tell her the good news.
Proceeds from the raffle help to benefit the Financial Aid and Scholarship programs at CBA.
“The corvette raffle is one of CBA’s major fundraising events and something our school community looks forward to each year,” Heidi Monsour, Director of Special Events and Programs at CBA said. “It is a vital part of sustaining the outstanding programs and facilities we offer our students at CBA. We thank all of those who supported this year’s corvette raffle, especially our parent volunteers, and we congratulate Carrie Culeton this year’s winner.”
