Senior high students will perform in this year’s fall drama, Radium Girls, on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Dan Byrne ’70 Performing Arts Center.

The drama features more than 25 students in grades 9-12 who are either a part of the cast or crew.

Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at: our.show/cbaradiumgirls. There is an additional fee for processing.

The show is a historical drama about the girls who painted dials in Orange, N.J., for the U.S. Radium Corporation in the 1920s. The paint used in the factory contained radium, a highly radioactive element that helped watches and clocks to glow in the dark. Their exposure to the element caused numerous health issues for the girls, leading them to seek legal action against USRC. The play follows the story of the girls in their legal battle with the company.
