Eighth graders Ben Doody and Joshua Drazek and seventh graders Keira Kennedy and Damon Swanson will represent CBA in the Post Standard Regional Written Spelling Bee, which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25 at CBA.
The four students won CBA’s annual Spelling Bee for seventh and eighth graders held in December.
The top 35 spellers will then advance to the oral Regional Competition, which will be held on Feb. 29 at WCNY Studios. The winner there will move on to the Scripps National Bee in Washington in May.
