The Catholic Lasallian tradition is at the very heart of Christian Brothers Academy’s academic program and is the foundation of our educational community. As a college preparatory high school, CBA provides a curriculum that presents a comprehensive view of the various branches of knowledge and their interrelations. The faculty strives to accentuate research and creativity to assist students in developing the powers of observation, imagination, reasoning, tolerance, and judgment necessary for growth toward freedom and responsibility.
Students at CBA have “defacto” expressed their willingness to live and abide by the rules of our academic program. Such regulations are meant to ensure a quality academic experience for all students. CBA challenges and prepares students for acceptance into the finest colleges and universities. The average score for CBA students on SAT and ACT exams is consistently and significantly higher than the New York State and national averages. Year after year, 100 percent of CBA seniors graduate and are accepted at academic institutions of higher learning, from military academies to Ivy League colleges to distinguished universities throughout the United States and the UK.
