Students returned to school on Friday, Sept. 6 for a full-day of orientation.
Spirited members of Student Senate cheered on students as they entered school. An assembly followed where President Matt Keough and new Principal Dave Marshall ’02 welcomed the students. Peer Minister leaders Audrey Schaefer and Matt Cappella led everyone in prayer, followed by a beautiful rendition of “This Little Light of Mine” by Agnes Smith, Administrative Assistant.
Student Senate leaders Ali Boule’ and Emmet Kilmartin went over all of the events coming up in the next few months. And the cheerleaders performed a routine.

After the assembly, students had class meetings, took their photos for the yearbook, took a class photo, gathered for prayer at the Grotto, participated in a service project and a class unity activity and ate lunch. During the afternoon, the students went through an abbreviated A-Day schedule.
